"What is a bronze casting?" Art Talk with Al Glann

Madaras Gallery celebrates the installation of the 5-foot sculpture "Red Salutation" with a special Art Talk featuring acclaimed sculptor and painter Al Glann. This intimate event offers collectors and art enthusiasts the opportunity to hear Glann speak about his creative process from concept to metal fabrication and bronze casting.

In addition to this landmark installation, Madaras Gallery offers a curated collection of bronze and fabricated sculptures available for purchase—each designed to add a sculptural element of intrigue to your décor.

After a career as a commercial designer, illustrator, and college professor, Glann discovered a deep passion for sculpture and painting. His work spans composite relief, casting, wire sculpture, wood, and metal, bringing precision, intention, and a refined sense of form to every medium he explores.

La Encantada invites the community to a special morning with celebrated local artist Diana Madaras, marking the debut of her new outdoor murals at the center. At 11 AM, Madaras will share the pivotal moment that changed everything—how a single painting trip to Greece turned her world upside down, sparking a new wave of creativity that inspired a bold career change and ultimately led to a 30-year, award-winning art career. Guests are invited to meet Diana, explore a curated pop-up gift shop featuring her work, and enjoy the chance to win a $1,000 shopping spree at Madaras Gallery. No RSVP Required.
