Ray Tigerman: "Vibrant Visions"

Wednesday, 12/17/25 from 5:30pm-7pm, Artist talk at 6pm

Ray Tigerman is a distinguished contemporary artist of the American Southwest whose vivid acrylics and textured paintings evoke the region’s high-desert landscapes with striking immediacy. His work—ranging from dynamic wildlife to contemplative and stoic portrayals of Indigenous people—honors the spirit of the Southwest through bold color and expressive form. Born in northern Nevada and connected through family to the Oklahoma Choctaw Nation, Tigerman infuses each canvas with an intimate sense of place, weaving personal heritage, cultural memory, and the region’s enduring mystique into a singular visual language.

Ray Tigerman will debut a new boday of work at the Madaras Gallery, presenting a fresh exploration of the color and emotional resonance that defines his artistic voice.
