Join us on Friday, November 14 for an exclusive evening with Burgess, a Santa Fe artist celebrated for his striking, contemporary portraits of Indigenous men and women. A proud member of the Comanche Nation of Oklahoma and descendant of Chief Quanah Parker, Burgess brings history and emotion to life through vivid color and modern technique.

His work has been exhibited internationally and is featured in major collections, including the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian. Beyond his studio practice, Burgess hosts The Business of Art, a weekly podcast and radio program exploring creativity through conversations with artists, curators, and educators.

Rocky LaRose: "Wild at Heart"

Kathleen “Rocky” LaRose is an award-winning photographer whose work has been featured on magazine and book covers, including Tucson Lifestyle and Wyoming Wildlife. A former University of Arizona Athletics Director and trailblazing leader in collegiate sports, she now devotes her life to photography, travel, and adventure, capturing wildlife and landscapes around the world.

This photography exhibition, “Wild at Heart,” captures the raw power, movement, and untamed spirit of the horse. Through bold and dramatic imagery, Rocky reveals not only the grace of these majestic animals, but also the freedom and vitality that live within us all. This collection is a tribute to strength, elegance, and fearless energy.

Nicolas Wilson: "The Library Show"

Renowned wildlife artist Nicholas Wilson presents his newest exhibition, “The Library Show,” featuring an extraordinary collection of desert creatures painted with meticulous detail and reverence for the natural world. With over fifty years devoted to wildlife art, each painting invites close viewing, revealing the lifelike precision and sensitivity that define Wilson’s work.

Wilson’s art is represented in the permanent collections of the Smithsonian Institution (Washington, D.C.), the Booth Western Art Museum (GA), and the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum (AZ). His work has also been exhibited internationally at the British Museum of Natural History and the Scottish Museum of Natural History.
