Wild Arizona Pre-Party: Meet Dyana Hesson

Join us at Madaras Gallery on Friday, October 3rd from 5:30 – 7:00 pm for a special Pre-Party Reception, held the evening before Dyana Hesson’s Wild Arizona exhibition opens at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. The evening’s highlight will be the unveiling of Hesson’s newest reproduction, Organ Pipe Cactus, available as a limited-edition giclée.

Known for her luminous, large-scale oil paintings, Dyana Hesson has spent 35 years celebrating the beauty of Arizona’s native plants and landscapes.

This reception offers an intimate opportunity to meet Dyana Hesson and hear about her creative process.

10% of Dyana Hesson canvas sales during this event will be donated to the Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum.

2025 Annual Diana Madaras Show: "Romancing the Art"

Madaras Gallery’s Annual Fall Show, Romancing the Art, celebrates the romance Diana Madaras has discovered throughout her time in Arizona—her lifelong love affair with color, nature, and place. In this collection, she reveals 20 new originals, radiant works that embody the vibrancy and spirit of the Southwest. This annual show is the only time Madaras unveils new original paintings, making it a rare opportunity for collectors and admirers alike. Preview in the gallery or online starting October 19, with a public reception opening November 1.

Rocky LaRose: "Wild at Heart"

Kathleen “Rocky” LaRose is an award-winning photographer whose work has been featured on magazine and book covers, including Tucson Lifestyle and Wyoming Wildlife. A former University of Arizona Athletics Director and trailblazing leader in collegiate sports, she now devotes her life to photography, travel, and adventure, capturing wildlife and landscapes around the world.

This photography exhibition, “Wild at Heart,” captures the raw power, movement, and untamed spirit of the horse. Through bold and dramatic imagery, Rocky reveals not only the grace of these majestic animals, but also the freedom and vitality that live within us all. This collection is a tribute to strength, elegance, and fearless energy.
