Dusk at Gloria’s- Gloria lives next door. She’s the senior resident of our Tucson neighborhood—her house was built 40 years ago. She will be thrilled to know I painted a sunset scene looking up towards the mountains from the bottom of her driveway. I used a stamping technique to express the playful dance of light in the desert at dusk.  When I give myself permission to do “whatever” during a painting session, I truly experience color and joy.
