Hopi Overlay Butterfly Bracelet

This 6-panel sterling silver link bracelet uses an overlay technique to create the butterfly and flower scenes. The darkened silver base has been hand textured. The artist’s hallmark is a stamped 5-pointed star. The artist who used this stamp was previously known. Given the design and construction, it is very likely that the silversmith was Hopi.
