Howard’s Sunset– I met with Howard Paley, Chief Development Officer of the Handmaker Foundation, to discuss plans for the Foundation’s 50th Anniversary. During the meeting, Howard gave me a book of his photographs. I was very taken with a sunset scene and he gave me permission to paint it. Howard’s Sunset was photographed on a trail near the Catalina Highway.
