Old Mission- Canvas

Old Mission - Old Tucson Studios commissioned this painting in July, 2013. The image was then used as the backdrop for the Old Tucson banner which hangs above the luggage carousel at Tucson International Airport. The original Mission Church was built for the movie Arizona in 1939 as an exact replica of the Presidio Tucson Church. Over the years, the structure was changed and modified for different movie productions. The current representation was created for the film The Three Amigos. The Mission also appeared in the movie Tombstone.
