Poppies at Sunset- Canvas

Poppies at Sunset- I started this piece by painting a very abstract background of yellow, pink and purple, then added some grays to balance the bright color. The poppies and foliage were then painted over the background. The little touches of orange and white provide nice contrast to the bold red flowers.
