Purple Mountain Majesty----At the end of the day, when the sun begins to set, the desert mountains turn purple and pink. There is something magical about seeing them, so staunch and majestic, bathed in this fleeting light. After living in Tucson for many years, I catch myself thinking “Purple Mountain Majesty” when witnessing a scene like this.
